Not long ago Samsung launched the production of brand new and powerful ultrabooks. At present the new items are available for purchase only in Korea. In the coming months, new devices will undergo a trial period in Korea and then will start to appear in the West.Samsung has always tried to keep pace with time, and today it plans to keep up with competitors who got into the habit of producing ultrabooks similar to the MacBook Air.

So currently, on the Korean market two models of new 530 devices are available, with 13 and 14 inches diagonal of the screen. Ultrabooks are equipped with powerful hardware and have very high-speed performance. They turn to the sleep mode in seven seconds and wake up in just TWO! The 13” 530U3B models have dimensions of 315x219x15-18 millimeters, and come with a Core i5 processor and a screen resolution of 1366 x 768.

Memory will come in two variants – 4 or 8 gigabytes of RAM and a 128-gigabyte SSD or a 500-gigabyte hard disk with a 16-gigabyte SSD. Weight of the device will be just over 1.5 kilograms. The model with five 500-gigabyte hard drive will be a little heavier. Price varies from 1,125 to 1,300 US dollars.

The 530U4B model has dimensions of 333x230x21 millimeters, and is equipped with an optical drive and a processor based on Core i5, with AMD HD7550M graphics card. Inside the case there is space for a pluggable hard drive (1 terabyte) with a 16-gigabyte SSD-module or a single 128- gigabyte SSD. The ultrabook weighs slightly less than two kilograms. The model is available for purchase with prices from 1,200 and up to 1,350 dollars. And in February, 1.9 series ultrabooks produced by Samsung will be released.

Two brand new models – 13.3-inch and 15-inch Samsung Series 9 will roll off the production line. Both laptops are 15 mm thick, which allows classifying them as ultrabooks!

New items feature Intel Core i3 or i5 processor, up to 8 GB of RAM (DDR3 standard), SuperBright Plus display with 1600 × 900 pixels resolution and 400 nits brightness, 256 GB SSD, glass-covered touchscreen, Wi-Fi module and backlit keyboard. In the offline mode these ultrabooks can work up to 10 hours. The prices are $1,399 for a 13.3-inch model and $1,499 for a 15-inch model.
